Terahertz localized spoof plasmon

The spoof localized surface plasmons show potential applications due to the enhancement effect of the optical frequency field. Since the low-frequency torsional and vibrational motions in molecular systems lie in the terahertz region, it is important to study the localized confinement of terahertz spoof plasmons. Here we experimentally excited multipolar Fano resonances in two asymmetrical metal particles and their interaction with vortex light. Our findings have shed light into the terahertz multipolar and Whispering-Gallery modes and related terahertz plasmonic devices.
